Tires On The Pavement

We are back on the road after a fine visit with our daughter's family in Sacramento. We flew back to Las Vegas to retrieve Vilia, our 5th wheel, from storage and headed out to Kingman, AZ for a one night stay as we progress towards Flagstaff for a few nights then up to the Grand Canyon for a few nights. Our campground in Kingman was adequate, nothing special. It was just far away from the truck busy interstate 40 that we could not hear engine noise. But, it is truly amazing how the white noise generated by tires rolling on pavement travels. Like an eerie, distant wind the whoosh was constant. We are back on the road.
