Vilia in the rain
Now into our 10th week of travels, we have
encountered our most rainy time yet. Some tropical low from off western Mexico
has splintered and the current wind pattern is bringing it right along the path
from SoCal to the meeting of Nevada, AZ and Utah which streams it right into
Moab from there. We had quite a bit last evening with distant flashes and
rumbles. Now at midday, we are getting intermittent blue sky as things move
along.
Our camp site has some nice views, but we are right next to state
191, a major north south thoroughfare. It’s noisy, but you do adjust.
Nonetheless, we have nice views from our site.
We have not had a downtime day in quite awhile. It is nice to catch up on various things.
